An attempt to get back into doing orchestrated remixes. Been mostly focused on guitar driven music and decided I needed to do something different for a change. Its short and stays very close to the source material, at least as far as the melody goes, but it was fun.

My entry for April's "Free Month" over at DwellingOfDuels.Net (11th place out of 13). General consensus seems to be the idea behind it was good, however execution in all aspects failed. I am inclined to agree, frankly. It took me almost the entire month to arrange, so when it can down to recording I was learning the guitar parts on the fly, and I'm sure the piece suffered for it.

Anyway, the idea behind it was I was whistling the first little bit of it and tried forcing it into 3/4 time. After playing with that for a bit it started to merge a bit with Dragonland's "Supernova"... and thus the basic premise for this entry was born.
